The present essay contains the analysis of the existing Information about these observations: three sets of Persian observations in the Sassanid era (ca. 470, 556, and ca. 633-634 AD), an anonymous observer’s observations in 90-100 AH / 709-718 AD in Bost (the present-day city Lashkargah in Afghanistan), the observations of Aḥmad Ibn Muḥammad al-Nahavandī al-Ḥāsib in Jundishapur in 170s AH /787-795 AD, and the observations probably made by Yaḥyā Ibn Abī Manṣūr in Merv in 202 AH / 817 AD or shortly before. All these observations took place in the geographical area of Iran. It seems that the researchers generally did not pay attention to the observations of Bost and Merv. به رغم تأکید شماری از اخترشناسان دورۀ اسلامی بر نبود رصدی میان رصدهای بطلمیوس (حدود 130-141 میلادی) و «رصدهای ممتحن»، در منابع مختلف گزارش‌هایی پراکنده از رصدهایی در همین بازه، چه در روزگار ساسانی و چه در دورۀ اسلامی به چشم می‌خورد. جستار حاضر دربردارندۀ تحلیل آگاهی‌های موجود دربارۀ این رصدها است: سه مجموعه رصد ایرانی در دورۀ ساسانی (در حدود 470، 556 و حدود 633-634 میلادی)، رصدهای رصدگری ناشناس در 90‏-100 قمری / 709‏-718 میلادی در بُست (شهر لشکرگاه امروزی در افغانستان)، رصدهای احمد بن محمد نهاوندی حاسب در جندی‌شاپور در 170 و اندی قمری / 787‏-795 میلادی، و رصدهایی احتمالاً در مرو توسط یحیی بن ابی منصور در 202 ق / 817 میلادی یا اندکی پیش از آن. همۀ این رصدها در محدودۀ جغرافیایی ایران جای داشته‌اند. گویا پژوهشگران عموماً توجهی به رصدهای بُست و مرو نداشته‌اند.. https://jihs.ut.ac.ir/article_98376_c3e39a552d8c8528fd30992e46964381.pdf
