بررسی زندگی و آثار لاگرانژ، با تاکید بر کتاب «مکانیک تحلیلی»

چکیده

در این مقاله، ابتدا تاریخچه ‏ی زندگی و فعالیت ‏های علمی ژوزف لویی لاگرانژ را بیان کرده و سپس به معرفی مهم‏ ترین اثر او یعنی کتاب «مکانیک تحلیلی» خواهیم پرداخت. علاوه بر بررسی اثر اصلی لاگرانژ، برخی آثار دیگر او نیز به اختصار مورد اشاره قرار خواهند گرفت. همچنین، به برخی فعالیت های علمی دانشمندان ماقبل و یا هم اثر او مانند نیوتن، ولف، اویلر، دالامبر، برادران برنولی، کلوروت، فونتن، کندورسه و دیگران نیز پرداخته می شود. از آنجا که کتاب «مکانیک تحلیلی» و نامه های لاگرانژ به زبان فرانسوی نوشته شده اند و نویسنده ی مقاله با این زبان آشنایی ندارد، برای گردآوری مطالب مربوطه، به مقالات و کتب انگلیسی زبان معتبر و دست اول، از جمله ترجمه ی انگلیسی کتاب فوق مراجعه شده است.

چکیده [English]

In this article, we will first present a biography of Joseph-Louis Lagrange and an account of his scientific activities, and then introduce his most important work, the book Analytical Mechanics. In addition to examining Lagrange's main work, some of his other works will also be briefly mentioned. Furthermore, we will address some of the scientific activities of scholars who preceded him or were his contemporaries, such as Newton, Wolff, Euler, d'Alembert, the Bernoulli brothers, Clairaut, Fontaine, Condorcet, and others.
