It can be argued that the most significant scientific advancements of the 17th century primarily occurred in the fields of astronomy and physics, which then influenced other scientific domains. The Birth of the New Physics highlights the most radical scientific developments of that era, focusing specifically on these two crucial fields. This book offers various historiographical insights, illustrating the impact of 20th-century specialized literature in the historiography of science. In the mid-20th century, Alexandre Koyré introduced fundamental changes to the historiography of the scientific revolution. His works laid the foundation for subsequent studies and modifications within the field. The translation of this pivotal book by a seasoned scholar in the history of science is particularly noteworthy, especially considering that the translator is a member of the Language Academy and a prominent authority on Persian. This ensures that we are presented with a unique and accessible translation. Although there are numerous books on the history of science and the scientific revolution that have been translated or authored, the need for a work like this has been keenly felt. Previous translations of this filed often tend to be overly general, lacking the necessary detail and precision, or suffer from translation quality issues. In contrast, the translator of this book has provided not only an essential text in Farsi but also a smooth, accurate, and reliable translation
