چکیده

کتاب جانورنامه نوشتهٔ محمدتقی انصاری کاشانی تا چندی پیش به عنوان تبیین نظریهٔ تکامل داروین معرفی می‌شده است. اخیراً آقای عرفان خسروی در مقاله‌ای تخصصی این باور را به‌درستی رد کرده ولی معتقد است که هیچ‌گونه برداشت تکامل زیستی از کتاب جانورنامه جایز نیست. در این مقاله مهم‌ترین منابع کتاب جانورنامه معرفی می‌شوند و ضمن بررسی محتوای این کتاب در پرتو کشف‌ها و نظریه‌‌های مطرح شده در تاریخ طبیعی و زیست ‌شناسی سده‌های ۱۸ و ۱۹ میلادی استدلال مى‌‌شود، که بر خلاف ادعای خسروی، جانورنامه در بخش بسیار مهم خود که به پیدایش جانداران و تاریخ زیست می‌پردازد، به روند تکاملی جانوران اشاره‌‌های متعدد دارد و می‌‌توان رابطۀ نزدیکی بین مبنای نظری جانورنامه و لامارکیسم دید و نوآوری‌های لامارک و پیروانش را نیز در جانورنامه به‌خوبى مشاهده کرد.

چکیده [English]

Jāniwarnāma, written by Muḥammad Taqī Anṣārī Kāshānī, has been thought to reflect a Darwinian view of natural evolution. In a recent article Erfan Khosravi correctly argues that this attribution is not justifiable. However, he goes further and claims, that Jāniwarnāma does not presents any view of evolution at all. In this article, first the main sources of Jāniwarnāma will be introduced and then by considering its content, it will be argued that in many parts of the book an evolutionary process akin to views of Lamarck and his followers can readily be found
